They knew they were violating the rules when they held these primaries. And the candidates -including Clinton – all signed a pledge not to campaign there and to honor sanctions against the states. That’s one reason Obama’s name wasn’t even on the Michigan ballot. The primaries in those two states were a farce but it is the states’ own fault. Clinton went back on her word – surprise, surprise – to get the delegates from those states because it is the only way she would have a chance to win. As it turns out, even that won’t help.
